The X’Air Safe combines a body protector which is mandatory for Eventing, with the technology of an airbag vest.
The X’Air Safe airbag is usable in competition, meeting multiple safety standards: The NF S72 800 2022 standard of the classic airbag vest, the EN 13158 level 3 standard of the Eventing body protector requirements for competition use and the BETA 2018 Level 3 certification.

Technical Fabrics: Cordura-based military-grade outer fabric for maximum abrasion resistance to tearing and UV. 3D mesh interior fabric for comfort and breathability.
Technical Foams: Combination of 2 foams - dense outer foam for shock distribution and inner rubber foam for shock absorption and comfort (as used in bulletproof vests).
Care and Storage Advice:
Do not machine wash or dry clean or immerse in water. We advise you to wash your airbag vest by hand with a sponge/rag with mild detergents without rubbing.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not expose your airbag vest to high temperatures (on a radiator, near a flame, closed vehicle in full sun)
Do not leave your airbag vest folded or rolled up for a long time. You can use the offered Freejump cardboard hanger to fold your vest easily while transporting it.
Store your vest on a hanger in a dry and moisture-free place.
Product Warranty:
The European standard of the product warranty is 2 years.
Receive 2 more years when the product is registered on the Freejump website and 1 free revision in the first 2 years from the date of purchase.
* Internal and external laboratory tests have been conducted to evaluate the X'AIR SAFE's absorption capacity. These tests measure the deceleration of a mass dropped from a predefined height. A smoother deceleration indicates better force absorption, meaning the airbag offers better impact protection.
The results showed that the X'AIR SAFE provides more than four times the force absorption of a body protection system combined with a separate airbag.
To illustrate, imagine the X'AIR SAFE like a car: the rigid outer shell is the first line of defense against impacts, like the X'AIR SAFE's shell. The car's airbag inside provides additional protection for occupants, just like the integrated airbag inside the X'AIR SAFE. Placing an airbag outside a car would not make sense in terms of protection.
